Avantika Prakash practises in criminal law, in both the Crown and Magistrates' courts (with a particular empahis violent crimes and youth work), and has appeared before the Court of Appeal. She regularly prosecutes and defends, and has undertaken work for the D. W. P. and C. S. A..
Avantika also undertakes licensing work, bankruptcy petitions, and general civil work (mainly mortgage cases).
In addition, Avantika is a part-time lecturer at the B. P. P. Law School, teaching criminal litigation and advanced criminal litigation, and also prepares foreign students for the Qualifying Law Transfer Test.
Avantika speaks Hindi and Punjabi, and, in her spare time, enjoys reading and travel.
